Bart Gernandt built a career rooted in service, integrity, and real-life experience. Growing up in rural Oklahoma with strong family ties, he had a firm foundation for life. Both of his parents had pensions, and at a time when that was the norm, a retirement plan wasn’t something their family ever discussed.
Bart first answered the call to ministry, spending six years offering spiritual guidance and learning how to lead with compassion and clarity. After serving his community in this way, he returned to college and completed a degree in management driven by a desire to make a broader impact.
Through career pivots, unexpected layoffs, and personal challenges, Bart developed a deep understanding of the financial uncertainty many families face. He lived through the transition from pensions to self-funded retirement and saw how unprepared his generation was for that shift. He felt called to help people in a more tangible way by guiding them through the financial decisions that shape their lives and legacies.
